Osteopathic Techniques - Palate Balancing

4 Lessons

No label

This video provides a demonstration and explanation of how to perform the osteopathic techniques. **Important notes:** - Never push on your teeth when you do these exercises, always on the palate/maxilla itself - These exercises can create a slight expansion of the palate, and it's still the tongue that is the most important component to achieving results. We want the tongue to be up on the palate to maintain the expansion we've created from these techniques The goal of these exercises is to gently massage and expand the anterior region of the upper palate. These exercises take less than 5 minutes per day.

In this video I demonstrate some key pointers to get the most out of your daily stretching routine... 1. If you have asymmetry you ideally are doing these exercises daily, multiple times through ought the day 2. There are some key pointers including doing them in a mirror, and making sure your body is balanced that will ensure you get the most from the stretches. And without focusing on these pointers, you can just go through the motions WITHOUT getting nearly as much benefit from them.

This is a follow-along routine you can do in front of a mirror, with no equipment. These are the most essential exercises to be doing every day for asymmetry. Note: you can stop before the end of the video. It's a somewhat long routine, but as I said in the video, if you have 5 minutes, or 10, it's ok!
